I ran into an issue at first, which was a bit frustrating, but support did help get it fixed eventually. It wasn’t the fastest experience ever, but in my view, they handled it reasonably well and things worked out okay in the end.

Food was okay. Delivery was late twice. Not awful, just annoying.

I ordered a few meals and the site was easy to figure out, but the checkout felt a little slow to me. I did get my confirmation email without any issues, though. Overall, it wasn’t bad, I just think the ordering process could be a bit smoother.

The food options are decent, and I haven’t had anything bad, but, I do wish they switched up the menu more often. After ordering a few times, it starts to feel a little samey, you know? Overall it’s okay, just, could really use more variety.

I was frustrated because it took days to hear back from support. At first I thought maybe I’d get a quick answer, then I just felt ignored, and by the time they finally replied I was more relieved than anything. Not the worst experience ever, but the waiting definitely wasn’t great.

I’ve really liked how flexible the subscription is. I can skip a week or change my order easily, which I didn’t think I’d use much, actually, I use it all the time when my plans change last minute. It’s been really convenient so far, and I’m happy with it.

I’ve tried a handful of meal prep places, and Healthy Meals Direct has been one of the better ones when it comes to flavor. I was mostly worried the chicken would be dry or bland, but it’s actually tasty and seasoned well.
The sauces are good, and the veggies don’t feel like an afterthought, which I appreciate. It doesn’t give off that boring “diet food” vibe, so it’s been easy to stick with.
Some meals are definitely better than others, but that’s not a big deal to me since most of them have been solid. They’re easy to heat up, taste fresh enough, and overall I’m really happy with them. 5 stars

My meals got here warm again, not cold like they should be. didn’t feel safe eating them, so I ended up tossing it. Frustrating tbh.

The meals were okay, but they felt overpriced for the portion sizes. A few tasted decent, a few were just kind of average, and nothing really stood out enough to make me feel like it was worth the cost. The timing was also frustrating, it arrived later than I expected, which made the whole thing even more annoying. It wasn’t terrible, but I probably wouldn’t order again unless there was a really good discount...

I tried this out hoping it would make things a little more convenient for me. Placing the order was super easy and didn’t take much time at all, which I appreciated. But once I was waiting for the delivery, it started to get frustrating. The delivery times were longer than I expected, so it didn’t end up feeling as convenient as I’d hoped.

I wasn’t totally sure what to expect with the portion sizes, and I kind of assumed they might be on the smaller side like some other meal services. But they’ve actually been really solid. After one meal, I feel full, but not uncomfortably stuffed or anything. I guess everyone’s appetite is different, but for me they work really well for lunch or dinner, which makes it a lot easier to keep ordering.

The meals taste really clean and fresh, not all heavy or greasy. I like that the veggies actually look real lol, and the chicken seems like good quality too. It just makes eating healthy way easier for me, esp on busy days when I dont feel like cooking

I’ve ordered from Healthy Meals Direct a handful of times now, the meals have been consistent. The chicken has usually been cooked well, the veggies aren’t mushy, and the portions seem about the same each time, which I appreciate.

I did have one meal that was a little dry, and at first I was kind of annoyed, actually, not really annoyed, just a little disappointed—but it wasn’t a big deal. Overall, it’s been reliable and easy to have around when the week gets busy.

My meals showed up nice and cold, and I’m sure it was on the day they said it would be, though I kind of lost track of the delivery timeline. Either way, nothing was leaking or smashed, and the containers all looked intact. The box was easy to open too, which I appreciated. Definitely better packaging than some other meal deliveries I’ve tried.

I really like how easy it is to choose what I want and customize my orders. Simple. Convenient. Love it.

This works good for my diet, it fits my macros and makes staying on track a lot easier.

In my experience, the meals from Healthy Meals Direct were decent, but the freshness wasn’t totally consistent. A few of the meals tasted really fresh, and the vegetables still had a good texture, which I appreciated. But a couple of them had that slightly “been in the fridge a bit too long” taste. I didn’t feel like anything was spoiled or unsafe, just not quite as fresh as I personally expected for the price. Delivery went smoothly, so that was a plus. I might order again here and there, but probably not something I’d do every week

I really wanted Healthy Meals Direct to work for me because the convenience is great, most of the meals tasted decent. For someone who doesn’t want to cook every day, I can see why it would be appealing.

Where it didn’t work for me was the nutrition info. Just based on the portions and how some meals looked compared to the label, a few seemed like they had more calories than listed. The protein numbers also didn’t always feel believable to me, which matters because I track my macros closely.

I wouldn’t say it’s a terrible service, especially if you’re just looking for easy meals. But for me, the numbers felt too unreliable to keep using it, so I stopped ordering after a couple of weeks.
